Discussion of needs, aesthetic, cabinetry style, budget, and desired timeline. Whether you have a designer or existing plans, or want to start from scratch, we’ll tailor the process to fit your vision.

Installer visits location to measure and determine project plan (i.e. electrical, plumbing and structural needs)

The Job Shop makes recommendations, provides sketch, quote, and anticipated timeline (timeline contingent on style, painting, etc.)

Client reviews and approves and provides 50% deposit with 50% due upon completion

overlay construction
Our standard frameless full overlay design delivers a sleek, modern look with maximum storage access and clean lines. Inspired by European style, it removes the face frame for easier interior access and seamless cabinet flow. Face-framed and inset options are also available.
3/4" prefinished maple
plywood cabinet boxes
We use durable 3/4" prefinished maple plywood — not particle board — for cabinet boxes. This premium plywood resists warping, holds screws firmly, and features a clear coat for lasting protection, built to withstand daily kitchen and bathroom use for years.
Rabbet jointed and
fastened construction
Each cabinet is built using precision rabbet joints and reinforced fastening methods. This traditional woodworking technique locks the pieces together more securely than butt joints or nails alone, boosting structural integrity and delivering a rock-solid cabinet you can trust.

Our drawer boxes are crafted from 5/8" thick solid wood and joined using dovetail joinery — a hallmark of quality cabinetry. Dovetails offer unmatched strength, resist pulling apart, and visually represent the craftsmanship behind every drawer.
3/4" painted HDF
drawer fronts and doors
We use 3/4" high-density fiberboard (HDF) for painted fronts, delivering a smooth, flawless finish that resists warping better than solid wood in painted applications. The result? A long-lasting, perfectly even finish that stays beautiful with time and wear.
